James "Hutch" Walter Hutchinson

James “Hutch” Walter Hutchison passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Brookestone Meadows in Omaha NE.He was born September 30, 1943 to the late Marvin and Jeannie Hutchison.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by this brother and sister in-law, Dan and Barbara Hutchison, granddaughter Cassandra and his beloved dog Blondie. Hutch was an active member of the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church.He was an avid Rodeo fan having been a roper himself, and a huge country music fan, attending many concerts. He is survived by his four children.Son, James (Dawn) Walter Hutchison Jr of Ft Worth, TX; son, Christopher Hutchison of Albuquerque, NM; son, Steven (Sara) Hutchison of Albuquerque, NM; and daughter, Rebecca Hutchison of Albuquerque, NM (who loves and misses him dearly).Survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren: Courtney, Benjamin, Alyson, Anthony, Lacie, Ciara, Ellie, Jessica, Mikayla, Tyler, Houston and Bryson.He remained close with his ex-wife, Joyce Hutchison of Ft Worth, TX and ex daughter in-law Pamela Hutchison of Albuquerque, NM.His niece, Sharla Hutchison (Michael McDaniel) of Hays, KS and nephew Kent Hutchison (Angela Bryan) of Boulder, CO. Cousin Jay Reynolds of KS and long-time friend Patricia Strange of NM.He is also survived by his honorary extended Omaha Family of:Missi South (Terry & Jake Gustin) of Missouri Valley, IA; Tom and Jane Upton of Omaha, NE; Mike and Kristin Poulsen of Omaha, NE; and Patti Duheme also of Omaha, NE. Services will be at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 84th and Pacific in Omaha NE on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11 am.
