BACKORA, James Harvey age 81 years of Battle Lake, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria, MN on Sunday, August 16, 2009.Preceded in death by his loving wife Helen, son Michael, two brothers and one sister, he is survived by his children, Tom, (Cindy) Backora, Carlos MN, David (Mary) Backora, Chaska MN, Jeannie (Dan) Carlisle, Wadena MN, six grandchildren and two sisters, Joyce (Fred) Kassen, Betty (Dean) Stasney both of Omaha, NE.Jim was born and raised in Omaha, NE.Memorial Services will be held at Braman Mortuary, (72nd St. Chapel) on Sunday, at 10:00 AM.Memorials can be directed to Lakeland Hospice & Homecare, 120 S.
