Survived by three children and their spouses, Mark and Christine (Anderson) Fus, Munster, IN, Jennifer (Fus) and John Fowler, Omaha, NE, Kathryn Fus and husband Paul Willett, Aurora, CO; grandchildren, Hannah Fus (Hammond, IN.), Evan Fus (Munster, IN.), Elliott Fus (Bloomington, IN.) and Julia Gollobit (Omaha, NE.)
He was preceded in death by wife, Karen Ellen (Erpelding), married on January 25, 1964;
parents, Andrew (East Chicago) and Cecelia (Kolisz) (Poland), and brothers, Henry and Richard.

Visitation: Sunday, 9/18/2022 from 2-4 pm, Rosary at 4pm, all at St. Bernard's Catholic Church (65th & Military).
Funeral Mass: Monday, 9/19/2022 at 10 am at St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.

Dennis moved to Omaha on 9/1/1962. He was employed by the former Omaha University (now University of Nebraska-Omaha) as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication.
He retired in 2006. His legacy as a professor lives on in the thousands of students he instructed for 44 years.
Dennis loved the Lord, his bride Karen, his three children and his four grandchildren with everything he had. His passion for reading, crossword puzzles, classical music, live theater, hunting,
fishing in Canada, Polish food and public speaking fed his soul.
