William R. Reasor "Bill"

12/17/1928 - 10/31/2024

We gather here today to honor the life of a remarkable man, Bill—a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Bill was a man of quiet strength, loyalty, and advocacy, and he shared a beautiful life of 63 years with his late beloved wife, Jane, or "Janie" as he would say. Their marriage was a profound testament to commitment and shared a bond that provided our family with stability and warmth. Even though they are both gone, the love they shared endures in all of us and continues to be a guiding force in our lives.

Bill was a dedicated family man who took great pride in caring for those he loved. He was both a mentor and a friend, always there to listen, guide, and support. He approached family with an unwavering sense of responsibility, and his presence was a constant comfort to us all. Each of us experienced his love in different ways, yet we all felt the same deep, steadfast devotion.

An outdoorsman at heart, Bill found peace in nature. Whether he was casting a fishing line or spending a day hunting, he was truly in his element. He passed down his love for the outdoors, teaching us patience, respect for nature, and the beauty of simple moments. Those who shared these experiences with him carry forward those lessons and the peace he found there.

Bill was a man of order and preparation. Whatever he took on, he approached with care and method. Whether he was organizing tools, cleaning a gun, carving a wood caricature, or just fixing something around the house, he believed in doing things right. This quality, along with his meticulous nature, taught us the importance of being intentional, prepared, and proud of our work.

As we say goodbye to Bill, we remember a life filled with warmth, devotion, and insight. His legacy is woven into the lives he touched and the memories he created with each of us. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the lessons he shared. Rest in peace, Bill—you will always be in our hearts. It's never goodbye, but forever, "See ya".
