William “Bill” Simons, of Omaha, age 61, died November 26, 2010. Bill was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents, Betty and Nev Simons. His sisters are Kym Garder of Idaho, and Penny McMahan of South Carolina. Bill was a graduate of Crystal Lake High School in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and held a degree in journalism from Drake University. Bill and wife, Connie, have two sons, Ian and Will, both of Omaha. Bill was a thirty-year employee of the Omaha World-Herald. He was an avid patron of the arts and fan of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Andy Warhol.
