ALBERT, William H. September 20, 1948 ~ July 6, 2018 Age 69 years of Omaha William graduated from Creighton Prep in 1966.He proudly volunteered to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in 1968 and was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina as an Engineer Equipment Operator. For nearly 45 years, he worked as a maintainer at Crown Cork & Seal (formerly Continental Can). William was deeply honored to be elected Union Shift Steward to serve and represent his coworkers. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.He was affectionately known as “Big Al” and “The Moose.”He found joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as well as his passions of stock car racing, classic cars, car repair, gardening, and sports - especially the NebraskaCornhuskers. He also adored the natural beauty of the outdoors, in particular of Colorado and many U.S. National Parks, as well as Banff National Park in Canada. He taught us to work hard, play hard, and love your friends and family with all your might.His humility and sense of humor have been models for us all.We carry him in our hearts forever. Preceded in death by: Parents, Raymond & Eleanora and Siblings, Richard & Marilyn. Survived by: Loving wife of 42 years, Maureen; Children, Marnie (Rob) Corsaro, Michaela (Seth) Northrop, Brian (Janelle) Albert and Emily (Dan) Elsasser; 8 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. VISITATION: Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5-7pm with ROSARY at 7pm at Braman Mortuary(Southwest Chapel). MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church (16701 "S" Street). Interment: Mt.
