Wendell was born to Ivan & Marion Rollins in Oakland, IA on February 20, 1930. He departed this life on August 28, 2012 in Fremont, NE. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post #2503. He retired from his part-time retirement job in 2011 at the age of 81 from the Wal-Mart in Fremont, where he was known as the “Paint Guy”. Wendell was a good man, a great dad and was loved by many. We’ll miss him. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Wylie; Survived by: Son Daniel Rollins, Daughter Deborah (Rick) Tenopir, both of Lincoln, NE; Son Scott (Amy) Rollins of Louisville, NE; Special Niece, Jan Rollins of Fremont, NE; Grandchildren: Jennifer (Steve) Novotny, Joe (Sue) Hulsebusch, Zara (Dan) Myers, Skyeler, Morganne, Patrick, Taytam, Ann (Austin) Jones, Sara, Shandra, Ryan & Eric; Great Grandchildren: Gavin, Holden, Zya, Wyatt & Jarzin; Many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
