Wayne A. Wilke
May 28, 1941 - February 18, 2025

Wayne passed away peacefully February 18, 2025. He leaves behind his wife of 65 years Delores; son, Michael (Tina) Wilke; daughter, Vickie (Andy) Wilke-Lendt; grand daughter, Amy Wilke. A celebration of Wayne's life is planned for a later date in MN.

Wayne Albert Wilke was born in Ceylon MN on May 28th 1941. He lived and worked on his family farm growing up and spoke often about the animals he grew up around and his father. He loved his mother Annabelle and Father Walter, who he lost too soon. He was very close with his sister Alice and had fond childhood memories of his brother Bud. He served in the Army
during the Cuban Missile Crisis, he worked in a missile silo. He met his Sweetheart Delores Juhl as a teen and they had been together ever since, they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. During their marriage they went honky tonking, and traveled to many places. They started a family by adopting Vickie and Michael. Wayne loved his children and was always there to help anyway he could, he was proud of all they did in life. He worked hard for many years and met so many people through out his life. He was always ready to chat with anyone he met and made friends everywhere he went. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He taught his grand daughter Amy to fish and to drive and how to enjoy a good sweet treat. Wayne loved a good joke and a bag of marshmallows and watching game shows, he never missed an episode of Wheel of fortune, or as he called it "Vanna". He was a great man who will be missed by all who loved him. Hе lives on in our memories we shared.
