Vivian was born in Omaha, NE on September 12, 1933 to Albert and F.M. (Marie) Calloway.She was the youngest of four children. In 1950, she marriedJohn L. Vaughan and they had 5 children : Denise Vaughan , Annette Vaughan (Williams), Darryl "Dee" Vaughan , Bonita Vaughan & Gail Vaughan all of Omaha. In 1970, she married Joseph Edward Wommock of Texas. Vivian and Joseph had two daughters together: Jody Wommock & Tina Wommock of Omaha. Vivian loved life and she loved her Heavenly Father, Jehovah God. She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on February 12, 1972. She loved reading the Bible and learning all that she could about Jehovah God and His son Jesus Christ.One belief that Vivian cherished was that soon the earth would be rid of death and suffering.She looked forward to the time when humans would enjoy life the way Almighty God Jehovah intended - forever on a paradise earth. In addition to her spiritual routine, she had many hobbies. She loved to cook and regularly spent time with family and friends. She loved shopping and many of her shopping trips resulted in a gift for others. Vivian was known for her kind words and loving sentiments she would send to others which were often expressed in beautiful cards or a phone call. Vivian's secular career was quite diverse.She worked as an in-home Certified Nursing Assistant prior to becoming a cook for Omaha Public Schools where she worked in the cafeteria.However, those who were close to her knew that the career(s) she loved the most were dedicated mother, devoted wife, and faithful servant of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings- Albert Calloway, Gerald Calloway & Norma Calloway ( Campbell) , her husband Joseph and daughter Denise. She leaves to mourn a son Daryl, and daughters: Annette, Bonita, Gail, Jody , and Tina. Grandchildren: Angela Beauguard, Ezra Vaughan, Justin Vaughan and Bryant Sullivan Williams as well as a host of nieces, nephews grandchildren,great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn many dear spiritual brothers and sisters that she'd grown to love and who loved her in return.
