Virginia A. Brimeyer

11/14/1927 - 1/27/2025

Virginia “Ginny” Ann Brimeyer, 97, passed away on January 27, 2025. Ginny was born November 14, 1927, to Susan and Otto Steger. She and her husband, Robert “Bob”, were
married on February 7, 1948, and had three children together: Donna, Dana, and Dale. Ginny stayed home with the kids, enjoying that time with her family, being outside, and making
memories. She later went to cosmetology school and managed the beauty salon at Roshek’s in Dubuque. After Bob’s retirement, they moved to Florida where she loved relaxing by the pool and enjoyed many wonderful years with visits from family and friends. She also worked at many hotel salons on Miami Beach over the years and loved glamming people up, working well into her 70s. Ginny moved back to the Midwest after Bob passed and the rest of her years were spent in Omaha. She often enjoyed a gin cocktail or a good margarita and kept everyone laughing with her feisty personality.
She is survived by daughters Donna McMahon and Dana Shaw; grandchildren Scott Kluck, Todd Kluck, Carolyn Kluck, Shane Lech, Shara Wessel, Audra Strunk, Alan Brimeyer, and Alec
Brimeyer; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Robert Brimeyer, son Dale Brimeyer, grandson Ryan Kluck, and great-granddaughter Taylor
Lech.
Memorials can be made to the Taylor Lech Foundation for pediatric cancer research - cash, check, or venmo (@Taylor_Lech_Foundation).
