Velma Vivian Baxter was born in Plattsmouth, NE on July 24, 1917. She loved to play violin and sing. She graduated from North High in 1936, and then married Robert E. Wolf in 1937. They had three sons. Velma was a homemaker and stayed busy raising three boys. She became a member of the Eastern Star shortly after 1960. In 1986 she also became a member of the Sat-ra Temple #59 Shrine Auxiliary, where she was very involved in the Daughters of the Nile choir and performed across the continent. She was a member of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church. Bob and Velma bowled together at Kelley’s Hilltop Lanes and Maplewood Lanes. Velma loved to work crossword puzzles when Bob wasn’t trying to finish them over her shoulder. She loved spending time with her grandkids, great grandkids, great-great grandkids and also her beloved dog Nenee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, her grandparents, parents, two brothers two sisters, and great-great granddaughter, Aubrey. She is survived by sons, Robert, Richard & Kay, and Russell; Grandchildren, Laurie & Mark, Lisa, Russ Jr., Heidi & Jeff, Angela, Rich & Sara, Bob & Cynthia, Kristal & Steve; 22 Great grandchildren; and 10 Great-great grandchildren and one on the way.
