McCRAY, Valerie Renee 3/12/1962 – 11/30/2019 Valerie was born on March 12, 1962 to Homer and Dorothy McPherson. She graduated from Northwest High School and continued education at University of Nebraska at Omaha graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. On May 25, 2013, Valerie married Derrick Horne. She enjoyed going to church, art and shopping. Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Homer McPherson Sr; mother, Dorothy McPherson and sister, Annette McPherson. Valerie leaves to cherish, husband, Derrick Horne; one son, Valdez (Bri); one sister, Cecelia (Cleveland); three brothers, Homer Jr, Donald (Vonne); John; one grandson, Sincere and two granddaughters, Legaci and Honor McCray. In addition, treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and host of friends.
