Terry was a phlebotomist for many years and would later go on to do bookkeeping for her father’s company Hand Electric. She had many hobbies and pastimes. The earliest of which was riding horses with her family. Terry was passionate about horses throughout her life and donated to many organizations that care for them. She also had a knack for arts and crafts. Over the years Terry would make countless amounts of quilts and blankets that are enjoyed by family and friends. Scrapbooks, photo albums, paintings, and crochet items were also among her works of art. Another passion of Terry’s was genealogy. She would work tirelessly to build family trees for her paternal and maternal sides of her family. In addition, Terry loved listening to music whether it be on record or live. She would speak fondly of a childhood memory where her father let her watch the Ed Sullivan Show in what would become her introduction to the Beatles. Travel would also become a great enjoyment to Terry. Especially trips to Florida to visit her son Jeff. She would also get to experience cruises all over the Caribbean. One year she even took the entire immediate family to Disney World. Spending time with family was always the most important thing to her.
Terry impacted so many lives during her time on Earth. We are all very lucky to have been a part of her journey! She will be greatly missed.
Celebration of Life for Terry will be held Saturday May 28th, 11:00 am until 2 pm at South High Alumni Association Hall, 5080 S 107th St, Omaha, NE 68127.
