Raised in the heartland of Texas and Nebraska, Terry embodied the values of hard work, dedication, and the importance of family values. His commitment to his family was unparalleled, serving as a beacon of strength and support to his wife, Mary, his sons Eric and Christopher, and his adored grandchildren Emmett Jesse and Easton Terry.
Beyond his patriarchal role, Terry found joy in his passions. As a skilled craftsman, his woodworking creations reflected both his attention to detail and his creative spirit. His leisure hours were enriched by the laughter and love shared within the embrace of his family; a testament to his devotion to those he held dear.
Terry was an Employee of Northern Natural Gas for over 50 years. He loved his work and his work family. Even after his diagnosis, he continued working, as it “kept him busy” with something else. Terry was a second-generation employee, as his father, Francis, worked for Northern, as well.
Terry's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family; his wife Mary, his sons Christopher (Chrissy) and Eric, as well as his beloved grandchildren Emmett Jesse and Easton Terry, his brothers Vike (Deb) and Tim along with cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved canine companions; Sparkie, Chewie, and Pepper, who shared in his joys and provided unwavering companionship and comfort throughout his life.
Though Terry may have departed our world, his legacy of love, integrity, and unwavering dedication will continue to echo in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
A memorial service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at Braman Mortuary, 6505 S 144th Street, on Friday, March 15th, 2024, where friends and family will gather to honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for future designation to cancer research in honor of Terry's compassionate spirit and enduring legacy.
