Susan C. Palensky was born in Omaha, Nebraska, to Ted Wonder and Bernice (Flynn) on April 29, 1931. She enjoyed her childhood with 7 brothers and sisters. She attended South High School and later began working as an Elevator Operator in the Medical Arts Building in downtown Omaha. She met her husband of 66 years, Charles Sr., on a blind date. He waltzed his way into her heart and they were engaged on May 5, 1952. Charles Sr. and Susan were married shortly after on November 15th of the same year. From their loving relationship they had 2 children, Charles Jr. and Becky (Mount). As a Homemaker, Susan dedicated her life to her family. After raising her children she provided loving care for all five of her grandchildren, whom she adored. Her kind heart and fun-loving spirit will be missed by many. The family would like to thank the memory support staff at The Heritage at Legacy for their compassionate and exceptional services, the Doctors, Nurses, and Trauma team at Bergan Mercy, and Serene Care Hospice for their supportive care. Survived by her Husband of 66 years, Charles, Sr.; Son Charlie; Daughter Becky (Brad) Mount; Grandchildren: Josh, Jerad, Zach, Jessie, Kayci; 5 Great Grandchildren; Many other relatives and friends. Visitation: Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 from 5-7:00pm, with a rosary at 6:30pm, all at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel) Funeral Mass: Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at 10:30am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church (5801 Oak Hills Dr.) Interment: Resurrection Cemetery Memorials to the Nebraska Alzheimer’s Assoc.
