CHAFFIN, Steven R. 9/24/1945 – 10/3/2021 Steve was born to Harry & June Chaffin in Omaha NE on September 24, 1945. He served in the Army National Guard during Vietnam. He had a passion for art, playing pool, antique cars and motorcycles. He married Donna Reh in May of 1979. Together they had two children, Mikala and Daniel. Steve and Donna parted ways in 1985. Dan and Mikala enjoyed watching him draw and work on his cars. Steve retired from Avaya after 30+ years of dedicated service. Over the years he had 4 dogs, Topper, Zip, Duffy and Boy that he had a great love and admiration for. Steve passed away from complications of alcoholism on October 3, 2021. His children and extended family wish he would have made better choices in life but wish him peace and clarity in God’s loving arms.
