PORTER, SHARON LOU 3/20/1941-11/14/21 Sharon Lou Porter was born in Aberdeen, SD on March 20, 1941 to parents Wylie Davidson and Esther (Nelson) Davidson.One of her favorite memories was riding her bay mare “Buckshot”.She even rode her in the Gypsy Day Parade after graduating from Central High with the Class of ‘59’.She moved to Sioux City, IA where she met Norman Underwood while working at a neighborhood department store and they married a few months later.To this union two children were born, Danielle and Tony. After 20 years of marriage, they divorced and she met Harold Porter and they married in Sioux City, IA.They both loved camping and were campground hosts for the county and State campground for five years.Harold passed away in 2011. Sharon was a member of the German City Church in Hornic, IA. Preceded in death by her parents Wylie and Esther Davidson; numerous Aunts and Uncles; and her second husband Harold. Survived by her daughter Danielle (Randy) Case; son Tony (Misty) Underwood; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one sister Lesley (Richard) Boyer; her stepson Daniel (Ashley) Porter; and four step grandchildren. Remembrance service Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at German City Church (2843 Hancock Cir. Hornick, IA 51026).
