Shari K. Petersen age 63, passed away on Sunday June 11, 2023. She was born to Vince and June Pravecek on July 20, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Shari was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was always known to greet you with a big smile and the best hugs. She was energetic, joyful, and loving. Also referred to as “momma Shari” she was a special part of so many lives.
She spent the majority of her life as a top producer in Real Estate and built strong relationships with her clients and fellow co-workers. When she retired, she spent her time volunteering at Methodist Hospital as well as helping to raise her grandchildren.
Shari was a devoted Christian and kept a strong faith throughout her life. She modeled Jesus by loving God and loving others. She was humble and selfless and put others first in any circumstance. She was always available and happy to help in a time of need.
Shari is survived by her parents; brothers Ron and Jeff, and sister Lisa Harris. She also leaves behind her husband Bret Petersen of 40 years; daughter Christine (Brett) Conrad and their children Grace and Asher; son Jeff (Ashton) and their children Lane and Payton; along with many other family and friends.
CELEBRATION OF SHARI'S LIFE: Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 5:00pm, with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service, all at Braman Mortuary (Southwest Chapel)
