Sebastain "Subby" J. D'Agosta 6/23/56 - 11/7/20 On the morning of Saturday, November 7th, 2020, Subby joined his parents, Michael and Mary, and brothers, Mic, John, and Rich, in Heaven. His life and memory lovingly cherished he is survived by wife, Laurie; sons, Tyler and Anthony (Molly); grand-daughters, Francesca and Gianna; siblings, Pat (Jim), Jimmy, Mary Jo, Jeff (Billie Jo), Lisa (Tim), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Subby's endeared his character to many in the 64 years he shared with us. In addition to being a beloved husband, father, brother to 8, friend, and companion, he was a hockey teammate, golf partner, co-worker, manager, and classmate - graduate summa cum laude from Bellevue University. A compassionate soul. The joy and affection he brought to so many remain as a flame in the hearts of those loved and cared for. The unconditional love and adoration he held for his two granddaughters, Francesca (4) and Gianna (2), were his beacons of light in his times of struggling health. Coupled with the strength and support of his family and friends, his positive outlook stood fast—unwavering. May his vigor for life endure in all of us. His final years, months, and days with us were filled with love, kindness, hope, and faith in a Power greater than all of us. His wife and sons are blessed to have shared his final moments to tell him of the love they have — and will always have — for him. His inner strength, courage, hope, and absolute adoration of his family carried him through his waning health to his final resting place. We thank you all dearly for the joy you contributed to his spirit. As we all mourn, cope, and heal, we ask that you share with us your fondest memories of him - here, Facebook, privately, or however you are most comfortable - to preserve his legacy as an inspirational companion, animated storyteller, dashing warrior, champion of integrity, and everything else he was to you. Recounts of good times remembered, anecdotes, photos, and anything else you would like to share is encouraged. With your permission, a compilation of these stories will be shared at his memorial service. Given the rising rates of the epidemic, his family has opted to postpone the Memorial Service until the Spring of 2021. ----- A note from the family, As some of you are aware, Subby's decline in physical well-being over the past few years was not without incident. Medications, inpatient care, and visits with healthcare professionals were taxing both physically and financially.
