Sam Allie Hyman
March 29, 1950 - February 14, 2025

Sam was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother and Hero. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force active duty for 28 years in multiple active war zones. He then spent another 15-year contracting with the military, training new troops to protect all those that he loved within the US. As a father he was there in time of need and support, guiding his children through life, picking them up when they would fail and soothing them when they cried. As a grandpa he showed nothing but love and joy by doing the goofiest things and by making faces and would sing and dance with them.

Sam had many talents from train building, fishing, and general fixing this or that for people, but one of his pride and joys in life was to play classical music. He loved to play a lot and was a member of multiple musical groups along with the Nebraska Wind Symphony, Omaha Symphonic Winds, Papillion Area Community Band and Shrine Band.

He leaves behind a loving wife Barbara Hyman; sisterin-law Cindy Barchesky; a brother John Hyman (Gerry); sister Cann; son Tim (Janelle) Hyman; daughter Sonja (Mark) Gudgel; beloved stepchildren Tim McDonald, Leah Fowler, and Tiffany(Greg) Dziurawiec and numerous grandchildren, other family members and friends.
