Samuel Joseph Donazio, Jr. aka Sammy D., Sammy Joe, Sambo, Sambam Sam was born in Omaha, NE. Sam was a South Omaha boy until the family moved in his youth to Carter Lake, IA. Sam has so many close friends from the Omaha / Council Bluffs area, and across the U.S. Sam had a big heart. His mother Beatta, father Sam, Sr., sisters Tanda and husband Matt, and Karen and huband Mike, brother Shawn, and nephews Nick, Jason, Jordan, and David meant everything to him. Sam absolutely loved to work out! He loved cars, music, sports, and Jesus. THE BEARS! Led Zep…. Sam was so proud to be a member of Los Diablos Motorcycle Club. He loved and cared for his family and friends and children with a love to which no one else will ever compare. He would do most anything to help another, whether it was a friend or a stranger. Sam loved being Italian...and everything that came with it. He loved making pizza and pasta and sharing it with his friends. Sam was so proud of his tattoos, as they were the symbols of what he believed in and was so passionate about. Sam loved his HUGE garden…. Sam had a deep, deep love for his 3 boys that he raised as his own - Justin, Tony, and Harley. His commitment and unwavering love for his lifelong companion Shelly remained throughout his life. Sam experienced many challenges in his life, because life is hard. But, with every victory he showed the world how to conquer, how to overcome - with grace, dignity and his undying faith. Sam, as brother Shawn puts it was ‘larger than life’; and there’s a hole in the world without our brother, father, son, companion, uncle, friend – no one will ever fill his shoes.
