Ruth H. Goodwin, age 100, of Omaha, passed away at Immanuel Fontenelle Home on February 5, 2019. Ruth was born in Arlington, NE on October 2, 1918 to Henry and Julia (Pelecky) Ptacek. Ruth was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Benson and Eastern Star. Ruth is survived by her son; Robert Goodwin (Patricia), daughter; Linda Goodwin (George), daughter-in-law; Jeanette, seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J. B. Goodwin, and son; James Goodwin. Ruth will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
