Rudolph H. Hron, age 94, of Omaha, passed away on March 11, 2019, at his residence. Rudolph was born in Omaha on May 10, 1924, to the late Godfrey and Marie (Hauck) Hron. He was the oldest of three boys and lived his entire life in Omaha. Rudolph enlisted in the Navy during WWII and served on the USS Bright, a Destroyer-Escort. He was a member of VFW Post 1 and belonged to St. Pius X Catholic Church since 1954. Rudolph is survived by his sons Frederic Hron, Vincent Hron, and Anthony Hron; daughter Annette (Hron) Ballard; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and brother Walter Hron. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert Hron, and wife Carol Jean (McKee) Hron. Visitation with the family: Monday, March 18, 2019, from 10-11 am with a funeral service at 11 am, all at Braman Mortuary, 72nd St Chapel. Interment in Villisca, Iowa, cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Pious X Catholic Church in Rudy's name.
