SALERNO, Ruby V. of Omaha Aug. 19, 1925 ~ Mar. 11, 2015 Ruby was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with family on camping trips, weekends in Spirit Lake, IA, watching Husker football and playing cards. She was a Cub Scout and 4H leader and loved to bowl. She worked several years as cafeteria manager at St. Bernard's school and spent her retirement years with Sam traveling and volunteering at nursing homes and St. Bernard's funeral and cleaning committees. She also danced for several years with the Rockin Cloggers. Preceded in death by: husband, Salvatore “Sam” Salerno; parents; 2 sisters; 3 brothers. Survived by: children, Mark & Patricia Salerno, Cathy & Terry Goldapp, Tom & Cara Salerno, Elaine & Doug Stuckey, Mary & Keith Raymond, Robert & Molly Salerno; grandchildren, Tracie (David), Jamie (Jered), Troy (Tara), Samantha, Alene (Scott), Robyn, Erik, Travis, Cienna, Tori, Rocco; great-grandchildren, Seth, Isabella, Addison, Aubrey, Ayler, Ethan, Raegan, Lena; brother, Lowell Neiman; sister-in-law, Rose Mahoney; : many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation, Sunday 5-7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Braman Mortuary (72nd St. Chapel) Mass of Christian Burial, Monday 10:00AM at St. Bernard Catholic Church (3601 N. 65th St.) Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
