PARR, Ronald W. 11/8/1932 – April 12, 2022 Ron was born on November 8, 1932 to William and Bessie (Blumer) Parr in Minden, Iowa He graduated from Minden High School in 1950 and spent two years farming until entering the US Army in 1952, where he served until 1954. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan Kutnink, on November 1, 1953.After serving in the army, he graduated from Radio Engineering Institute in Omaha.He was a service technician at Sears for 25 years. He retired early and spent 11 wonderful years living in the mountains of Colorado. Upon returning to Nebraska, he worked over 10 years at Indian Creek Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing, fishing , hunting and camping trips with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Joan.Daughter Debra Hawkins and her husband Mark.Daughter Julie Carlson.Grandchildren, Ronnie Hawkins and his wife Megan, Erin Hawkins, Timothy Carlson and his wife Jamie, Jillian Carlson and David Carlson.Great grandson Michael Carlson.Nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Elaine Graham, special cousin Mary Ellen Nielsen, and son-in-law Michael Carlson.
