Ronald Allen Money was born July 27, 1961 to Stuart and Barbara Money in Omaha, Nebraska. Ron was the youngest of their two boys. Ron grew up in South Omaha alongside his older brother Sam. He spent his youth hunting and fishing with his Dad and brother Sam. Ron played youth sports through the South Omaha YMCA and was a very talented artist and woodworker. Both of these talents he used throughout his entire life.

Ron graduated from Omaha South High School in 1979 and held several jobs with local companies before joining Precision Bearing in 1983, where he met and married Pattie Gill in 1984.
In May of 1985, they welcomed Kristan Elizabeth to their little family. Ron was a very attentive Dad and taught Kristan all his outdoor skills from a very young age. Including ice fishing, fishing, bow hunting and rifle hunting. Kristan was definitely a Daddy’s girl until the end.

Twelve years later Ron and Pattie welcomed their second child, Matthew Allen in 1997. Ron continued to be a very doting Dad to both Kristan and Matthew. Teaching Matthew the same outdoor and life skills he had taught Kristan. He also encouraged Matthew to joined the Millard West Trap Team when he was in middle school, which was a sport he continued through his senior year. Family vacations were spent in Minnesota fishing and enjoying family time.

In 2010 their daughter Kristan and her husband Mike, welcomed their first child Adam Michael. In 2013 a daughter, Isabel Jo, was born to Kristan and Mike. In 2021, Matthew and Bailey welcomed their little boy, Miles Allen. Ron loved his grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with them, sharing his love of all things outdoors. He grew huge gardens each year and the grandchildren picked several vegetables to plant.

Ron also took great pride in training and hunting with his English Setters, Jake, Addie, Mia and his current little sweetheart, Shelby Jo. Ron and Pattie were married for 40 years. Ron loved his family and spending time with them going on many adventures every year. He was preceeded in death by his father Stuart and mother-in-law Elizabeth. Ron is survived by his wife Pattie, daughter Kristan and son Matthew (Bailey). Grandchildren; Adam and Isabel Rager (their dad Mike) and Miles Money. He is also survived by his mother Barbara Jones (Jack), brother Sam Money, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
