Robert D. Tesch (Bob) of Omaha, NE passed away on May 26th, 2014. Bob was born in Canby, MN, November 2nd, 1939, to Richard and Amelia (Brandt) Tesch. He graduated 1957 from Canby High School and joined the United States Air Force the following month. As he served, he met and married Janice Nickel of Antigo, Wisconsin. Together they created a loving home and raised 2 boys, Gregory Dale and Bryan Lee. He served in U.S.A.F. for 20 years, serving as a computer systems analyst, and as he retired, he continued as a Civil Servant working for Boeing Computer Service Systems another 18 years before completely retiring at the age of 55. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Amelia Tesch; Ma and Pa Saltee (Hulda and Lars); brothers, Delbert, Russell, Richard Tesch and Leroy Saltee; sisters, Mildred, Mavis, and Arlene Saltee. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice of Omaha, NE; son, Gregory, wife, Bonnie Tesch, and their 2 boys; grandson, Steven, wife Amber; great-granddaughter, Tristan of Omaha; grandson, Micheal, fiancé, Tina, great-grandson, Creighton of Omaha, NE. Son, Bryan, wife, Cynthia; grand-daughters, Chloe and Amelia Tesch of Omaha NE. Sisters, Maryland Barenwald of Montevideo, MN, Jean Hansen of Canby, MN, and sister-in law Cleo Tesch of St. Peter, MN; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
