Robert S. Reynolds
April 14, 1930 ~ January 14, 2025
It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved Robert S. Reynolds. Mr. Reynolds passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the age of 94. Mr. Reynolds is a native Omaha resident who graduated from Central High School. He is a veteran and worked for the United States Post Office for over 30 years. He was a devoted and active servant in his church St. John AME Church, where he was considered the "Godfather" of St. John AME.
Mr. Reynolds was loved by everyone who came encounter with him. He exemplified a gracious and kind spirit who fostered friendship from all walks of life. He enjoyed life to the fullest, always open to learning new concepts, acquiring knowledge and experiences. He loved to read the Omaha World Herald daily. He had passion for golf and bowling, which he played well up in his early 90's.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his life partner of 50 years, Frances L. Bradley, daughter-in-law, Valerie Reynolds, nieces and nephew Chloe Thomas, Diane and David "Candy" Ferguson, grandchildren Melakiya (Missy) Bradley Johnson, Larry and LaTonya Bradley, great-grandchildren Lauren, London, and Bradley Johnson. We rejoice because he is now reunited with his family in heaven including, his three sons Bobby, Jr., Les, and Jeffery Reynolds. His brothers and sisters Arthur Reynolds, Dave, and Mercedes Ferguson, and parents Etta Holland and Arthur Reynolds, Sr.
May Mr. Reynolds loving spirit rest in eternal peace. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St John AME in memory of the Godfather of St John.
