Robert Olaf Kronberg

September 25, 1933 — October 8, 2018

KRONBERG, Robert O. 9/25/1933 – 10/8/2018 Robert, son of Olaf Kronberg and Anna Japp, served in the United States Navy after high school. He fulfilled his duties honorably during the Korean War. Upon discharge, he worked as a marble polisher in the construction industry while he and his wife, Gloria, raised their four daughters. A man of great faith, he became ordained and would perform services at home. He is remembered as a doting father who made holidays special with lots of food and toys. After groceries were bought, he was generous with extra pennies, too, which his daughters always spent on penny candy. Unfortunately, he and his family ran into hard times after he suffered a back injury at work. Through those tough times, he always kept family a priority and will be remembered for his infectious laugh. Without a doubt, this fine sailor, reverend, and father will be dearly missed but we look to the heavens and rejoice in salvation.
