Robert Eugene Knudson November 4, 1928 – February 29, 2020 Robert Knudson of Omaha passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 91.Bob was born in Manning, Iowa to the late Merle Conrad and Ermina Edwards Knudson on November 4, 1928.After graduation from High School he moved to Omaha, where he lived for the rest of his life.He is survived by his daughters Kathryn Bertrang (Steve) and Karen Swayze (John), six beloved grandchildren: Anne Stevenson, Jeffrey McCoy, Kristin Bertrang, Andrew McCoy, Paul Bertrang and Holly McCoy and two step grandchildren, David Swayze and Amy Zimmerman.His pride and joy were his nine great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Elinor, sister Margorie, and brother Rex. Bob served in many roles at St. Mark Lutheran Church, and his faith was the foundation for a full and happy life.Bob was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many, and will be missed greatly. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 4 from 5 to 7 PM at Braman Mortuary. Bob’s Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 10 AM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, with interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
