Robert A. Taylor "Bob"

January 11, 1943 - April 4, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert A. Taylor, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, on April 4, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Kearney, NE. Bob was a pillar of strength and kindness, always putting his family first.

His journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion and an unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and the many more lives that were touched by Him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol, their children Nicole Stokes (Dave), Rochelle Bangtson (Andrew), Robert (Roby) Taylor, and his six grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, 2 cousins, many nieces, nephews and friends. After attending Central Technical Institute, he worked as an electrical engineer for 43 years with Western Electric. He was very active in his church. Bob loved to travel and spent his retirement on many trips with Carol, and golfing as often as he could.

His legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life full of meaningful acts of love and service.

Memorials preferred to V.E. & Aina Johnson Scholarship at Midland University, Fremont, NE. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
