Southwick, Richard A. 4/25/1964-11/2/2020 Survived by: Wife, Kimberly Southwick; Son, Jeff Hohndorf; Daughters, Stephanie (Erik) Vance, Cassandra Southwick, Spencer Southwick, Ana Marie Southwick; Grandchildren, Seryna Southwick and Riley Vance. Rick was a Marine, family man, and a very active member in the Omaha metropolitan community. He was a member of the Millard Jaycee’s where he regularly helped with Project Concern gathering food, toys, gifts, Christmas trees, etc... for families in need. He was a president of the Millard chapter for many years and was nominated, by his wife Kim, to be and became a lifetime senator in the Jaycee’s. As part of the Omaha Beef Rump Roasters, Rick also helped with a kids camp they held once a year, called the Beef Kabobs. The Rump’s taught the kids a dance to perform along side them during that nights Omaha Beef football game halftime show. He participated in many other Omaha Beef and Rump Roaster events over the years. Rick was a member of five car clubs including the Omaha Car Club, Demon Pack, Street Kings and one he recently started, Wide Open Throttle. He recently bought his prized 2017 Hellcat Dodge Challenger. Additionally, just for fun and such a Rick thing to do, he bought a piece of land in Scotland making himself and Kim a Lord and Lady.
