RICHARDSON, Richard A. 10/8/22 – 7/9/17 Beloved husband of Betty, wife of 67 years, and father to children Carol Richardson Casper of Omaha and Craig (Debra) Richardson of Lincoln, grandchildren Megan (Brad) Bruntz, Cassi Richardson, Nikki (Steve) Franks, Chad (Shelly) Richardson, Darci (Eric) Schmitt, and 10 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons, Steven Richardson and Thomas Richardson, parents, sisters, and brother. Rich was born in Fremont, NE. He retired from Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. Rich was a WWII veteran and avid outdoors man, who enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, hunting on ranches in western NE, and being with family and lifelong friends at the MN lake cabin. Rich will be missed by all, especially his cherished family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission 2200 N 33rd Street, Lincoln NE 68503, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 925 84th St Omaha NE 68114, or a charity of your choice. No visitation. Funeral service 11 am Monday, July 17 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
