Richard M. Flowers. age 84, of Omaha, passed away on June 30,2019. Richard was born in Omaha, NE on July 28, 1934 to the late Walter and Melvina (Merk) Whitney. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. Richard is survived by his daughter, Leslie Jimenez (Robert), seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and sister, Sharon Whitney (Dan Ferraro.) He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra, son, Michael and brother, Robert. Celebration of Richard's life: Friday, July 5, 2019 at 11 am at Braman Mortuary 72nd St Chapel with full military honors by VFW Post 2503. A luncheon will follow the service at the VFW Post. Memorials will be directed by the family.
