McMAHON, Richard C. “Dick” 2/25/1937 – 6/3/2017 Age 80 years Richard (Dick,) 80 years, of Omaha died June 3rd, 2017.He graduated from York High School in 1954 and served in the US Air Force for four years. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad (IT Dept) in 1991. Then worked as a programmer with the Blackstone Group. After retiring from full time employment, Dick stayed busy as a runner for McGrath/North Law Offices. He enjoyed his gardening, golf, and followed the Nebraska Huskers passionately. Dick was a blood donor for the American Red Cross for many years. He was a member of St. Pat's in Gretna. He married his wife, of 60 years, Barbara, in 1956. Survivors include daughter, Pam (Dave) Leise. Sons: Tom (Tracey), Brian (Lori) McMahon, Bob (Nancy) McMahon, & Sean (Julie) McMahon. Thirteen grandchildren & twelve great-grandchildren.Sister, Donetta Nye of St Paul, Nebraska, brothers Steve Geis (Jeanie) of York, Nebraska, & Doug Geis (Nancy) of Henderson, Nebraska. Richard was preceded in death by his parents & son, Kevin. Gathering of Family and Friends: Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 5-7:00pm, with a Vigil Service at 7:00PM, all at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (508 W. Angus Rd.
