Schmalenbach, Peter Paul Jr. July 15, 1952 - January 29, 2019 Peter Paul Schmalenbach, Jr. passed peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, January 29, at Valhaven Care and Rehabilitation Center in Valley, NE, at the age of 66. He is survived by several children and siblings and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Schmalenbach in 2006; and his mother, Dorothy Jayne Madsen (nee Awalt) in 1986. Born July 15, 1952, he has resided primarily in Douglas County, NE, generally involved with trucking and freight hauling. He worked hard and played hard, he loved his families and friends. He did it his way. Per his request in 2010, there will be no services and he will be cremated with interment to be decided.
