On Wednesday August 23rd Penni Gist loving wife, mother, and grandma passed away at the age of 64. She was born on March 2nd, 1959 in Omaha, NE to Eugene and Joanne Corbett. On August 9th, 1985 she married Douglas Gist. They raised two daughters Elli and Molly. Penni was silly and lived to the beat of her own drum. She was someone you could always count on to drop everything and come to your rescue. Her love for her family extended to her love for animals. Penni rescued a lot of cats over the years. She chose to see the beauty in all of life's ups and downs. She will be missed beyond measure.
Penni is survived by her husband Douglas Gist; daughters, Elli (Robert) Beedle, Molly (Chanc) Dalton; grandson Charlie Dalton; Two brothers Eugene and Andrew; Two sisters Tammi and Bobbi.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday August 31st, 2023 at 1pm at the Senior Civic Center 423 Elm St. Louisville, Ne 68037.
