Born on July 12, 1959, in Glasgow, Montana, Peggy’s life was a testament to kindness and hard work. From a young age, she exhibited a desire to care for others, beginning her journey as a candy striper at just 14. That early calling led her to pursue a career in nursing, where she combined her skill and empathy to touch countless lives. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1977 before earning her nursing degree, fulfilling her dream of helping others with unwavering dedication.

Peggy’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her 12 grandchildren, with one more on the way. She adored them with all her heart, delighting in their laughter and milestones, and always making them feel deeply loved and cherished.

Peggy was a woman of many talents and passions. She found immense joy in sewing, quilting, and crocheting, pouring love and care into every piece she created. Her creations were not only beautiful but also cherished gifts that brought warmth and comfort to all who received them.

She had a special love for her Rottweilers, who were more than pets—they were her loyal companions, filling her life with joy and unconditional love. Peggy’s home was a place of laughter, creativity, and the companionship of her beloved dogs.

A true historian at heart, Peggy had an impressive library of genealogical work and family trees. She took great pride in preserving her family’s history, ensuring that future generations could appreciate their rich heritage. Her dedication to this labor of love connected her with family far and wide, creating bonds that will endure through her meticulous records.
