Paul R. Schaer Jr (73) died on January 27, 2023 in Omaha, Ne. surrounded by his family. Paul was the former long time owner of the Overhead Door Company of Lincoln, avid traveler and storyteller. He is survived by his wife Cyndi (Hyland), children Scott Schaer (Jill), Rhonda Hardman (Rob), stepsons Brian Mains, Jake Mains (Cait), grandchildren Madison Wolfe, Tyler Hardman (Lily), step grandchildren Madi and Parker Mains, sister CarolAnn Condon (Patrick), brother Mark Rosenthal (Angie) and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Josephine and Lester Rosenthal and Paul R. Schaer Sr., sisters Rita Hartigan and Janet Carlson. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on February 12, 2023 at 11:00 am at Braman’s at 6505 S. 144th St. in Omaha, Ne.
