Patricia Mennenga passed away February 18th, 2025 in Omaha, NE.

Pat was born April 8th, 1952 in Lincoln, NE and grew up in Mead. After graduating from Mead High School, she attended the University of Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.

Pat worked for the Visiting Nurse Association for over forty years in various capacities, including: home healthcare, school nursing, and teaching new mothers.

On March 15th, 1980 Pat married Robert Mennenga in Omaha. They have two children: Rachel and Carrie. Pat and Bob deeply enjoyed spending time together. They went on many adventures: hiking through national parks, going to Disney World with their daughters, and taking cruises to Alaska and the Caribbean.

In 2016, Pat retired from the Visiting Nurse Association. During this time, she further pursued volunteering in her community: Rockwell Elementary School, St Paul Lutheran Church, Lutheran Reads, Sew Powerful, and singing in the church’s choir and praise band.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents: Charles Clifford and Anna Louise Nelson (Angell); and daughter Sara Mennenga.

She is survived by her husband Robert; sister Jeanette Wagner (James); children Rachel Feala (Joshua) and Carrie Smedlund (Ryan); and grandchildren Sean and Mason Smedlund, and Isaac and Caleb Feala.

Memorial Service: Friday, February 28 at 11 am, with visitation from 10-11 am, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 13271 Millard Ave, Omaha, NE
