Patricia Jean Selberg (Baker) was born in Omaha on October 20, 1950 to Maxine and Melvin Selberg. She weighed only 4 pounds at birth. She enjoyed roller skating, swimming, and being with friends and family as a child. Her uncles thought it was funny to teach a little girl many curse words as soon as she learned to talk, that vocabulary stuck with her throughout her life. As an adolescent, she was in Job’s Daughters which became very important to her. She married and had one child, Melanie. She later married Harlen Baker who was her true love. As a career, she enjoyed working with students who had special needs as a paraprofessional in Millard, Westside then OPS. Later in her career she moved to a secretary position in OPS. Later, her daughter, Melanie was married (Matt) and had two boys, Mason and Maxwell. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandsons. She had a great sense of humor and laugh. She will be missed by all who knew her.
