Davis, Niles Eddie 9/20/1926 - 3/31/2018 Although born in Thorpe, Iowa, Niles spent most of his life in Omaha and Lake Havasu City, Az. He passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 31, 2018 at 91 years of age. He graduated from Belmont High School in Los Angeles in 1944. After graduation he joined the Army Air Corp at the end of World War II. Upon discharge he married the love of his life, Mary Jean Robinson. After several years of building in Omaha, he and Mary moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He continued his construction business for another 23 years. Always a leader, he was an active member of the Optimist Club, served a term as President of the Home Builders Association, served on the City Council including a term as Vice Mayor. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling with Mary in their 5th Wheel. After Mary was gone Niles moved back to Omaha and enjoyed his family and taking care of his home. Niles was proceeded in Death by his wife Mary, one brother and two sisters. He is survived by daughter, Linda Davis Peairs , and sons Niles Alan Davis and Norman Scott Davis, as well as numerous grandkids, great grandkids and great, great grandkids. There will be a Celebration of Life May 12th between 2-5 pm at Hillsborough Pointe Apartments Clubhouse, 14441 Sprague Court, Omaha, Ne.
