Nancy Caroline Williams was born to John and Marie Eidam (Wislicen) on July 16th, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska. Nancy graduated from Benson High in 1949. Nancy was blessed with three children, Jeff, David, and Lisa. Nancy’s first career was running a medical office, and she later started Marie’s Hallmark and Gifts, which she owned and operated for 25 years.
Nancy was an avid traveler, taking countless trips to Europe; she specifically treasured her memories of Italy, and her home away from home, the Isle of Capri. She was never without her sister Marilyn. Together, they frequently played tennis, did water aerobics, and collected art from their travels. Nancy loved socializing with her family and friends, including taking people out to eat, going on gambling trips, and sharing a nice glass of wine. She self-proclaimed to dislike cooking, but her family always appreciated her crab dip, egg salad, and Thanksgiving dressing.
Nancy was spontaneous, irreverent, and able to find the humor in any situation. She will be terribly missed.
She passed away September 3rd, 2022, at her home in Omaha.
Nancy was preceded in death by her son David Williams, sister Marilyn Graves; She is survived by son Jeff Williams; daughter Lisa (Jerry) Rounds; Grandchildren: Gabriel (Jennifer) Rounds, Katie (Alex) Brodersen; Great Grandchildren: Kinley, Mason, Daisy and one on the way.
