Nancy J. Mcmahon

Nancy McMahon was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on June 4th, 2021, at the age of 68. She was born to Arnold and Lorraine Steichen on September 20th, 1952 and was raised in Remsen, Iowa along with her 9 brothers and sisters. After graduating from high school, Nancy moved to Omaha where she met her husband, Gary McMahon. They will be celebrating 49 years of marriage on June 10, 2021 and together, they had 3 children- Ryan, Shannon, and Chad. Nancy loved spending time with her family and friends in her home at the kitchen table or by the pool. Best yet, you never knew who you might see at Nancy’s house as it was a gathering place for all. Her warmth and heart attracted many, and she possessed an unparalleled ability to make strangers feel at home and she always made sure you were well fed. Nancy’s pride and joy were her grandchildren. She showered her grandbabies with love and affection as well as with treats, primarily ice cream cones, cheese puffs and orange soda, and she was an avid attendee at sporting events, school masses, and any other event in their lives. Truly her most beloved title was “Grandma.” Private family Internment at Resurrection Cemetery.
