Missy E. Dunn passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 71 in Omaha, NE. Born on September 2, 1952, Missy dedicated over 15 years of her life working at Hobby Lobby, where she was cherished by her colleagues and customers alike.
Missy's life was marked by her love for family and friends, and she was always ready to engage in a lively card game, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Her presence was a comforting and unifying force, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Chris Dunn, and his wife, Des Dunn; grandchildren, Carter and Chloe; her brother, Bobby Johnson; and sisters, E'lyn Simonson, Vana Crowdis, and Suzy Oeth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert A Johnson and Billye Jane Johnson of Urbandale Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm at the ECHO Park Apartments clubhouse, located at 7561 S 146th St, Omaha, NE, where Missy will be united with her late husband. This gathering will be an opportunity for friends and family to honor Missy's memory and celebrate the love and happiness she brought into their lives.
