Michael Patrick O’Day Oh what a life he’s had. Growing up in Dunlap, Iowa with lots of family. After graduating, he enlisted in the Marine Corp. Then spending 10 years working at GM in California. After that, moving to Omaha closer to home and stared his law enforcement career spending over 30 years working for the Omaha Airport Authority as a Sergeant and in some drug interdiction. Then time to retire, he loved horseracing, volunteering for the humane society with the dogs, spending lots of time with grand kids, traveling around the country, especially God’s country South Dakota with the bike. Deciding to winter in Texas which he loved with our family there.Good times everywhere, but our special time out on the veranda having coffee, and our evenings watching our fish, the birds and our beautiful sunsets with a couple of beers and “boxed wine” with his beloved girl Klo and the planes. So many stories about this amazing man. Beloved friend and soulmate. Visitation: 5-7pm Thursday, May 14, 2020. Celebration of Life: 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2020.
