Mike worked at OPPD for 20 years and in that time created friendships that he truly cherished. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle through the Loess Hills whether that was with his buddies or a solo ride where he would make a pit stop at his sisters to catch up. Aside from riding his bike, he loved spending time with his beloved cats Snoopy and Jackson and watching his favorite football team the Nebraska Huskers. Mike was honest and kind and wasn’t afraid to tell it like it is. This was a trait we all appreciated about him. We will miss him dearly, but we know that he is now pain-free and so happy to be riding his bike again.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Doris Johnson and Gerald and Francis Smith. His infant sister Lisa Johnson, sister Jamie Johnson and nephew Chameron Johnson.
