Michael L. Dougherty, age 70, of Omaha, passed away at his residence, surrounded by his family, on September 2, 2019. Michael was born in Omaha on April 27, 1949 to the late Floyd and Claudine (Allen) Dougherty. He is survived by his significant other, Mary Ellen Heflin, daughter Amy Ghegan (Tim), grandchildren, Logan Flatt, Dakota Ghegan, Daria Ghegan, brother, Shawn Dougherty, sister, Sherry Pearson, many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Wendy Flatt. Celebration of Michael’s life: Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10 am with family receiving friends one hour prior to the service, all at Braman Mortuary 72nd St. Chapel.
