Michael or Sixty as he liked to be called was born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 29, 1976 to Charlene Andrews and Michael Ammons. Michael was later adopted by his stepfather, Julius Mickel. Michael graduated from Bryan Senior High School in Omaha, NE and served in the US Marine Corps. You knew when Michael entered the room; he never met a stranger. Michael was extremely intelligent and there was very little he wasn’t good at. We will miss his jokes, laughter, schemes, competitiveness and his flashy style. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his five daughters, Sacharra Andrews, Zxweiyu Ammons, Kniyemira Jones, Pheaknix Jack, and Freedom Mason, and his siblings, Yvonne Mickel, Julius Mickel, Cassandra Johnson, Kristina Mickel, and Angela Waytes, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Andrews-Mickel, father, Michael Ammons, grandmothers, Ethel Andrews and Ollie Reeves, grandfather, Leon Ammons and brother, Darnell Mickel.
