COTTON, Merdis age 67 years of Omaha, passed away November 23, 2011. Jul. 10, 1944 ~ Nov. 23, 2011 He is preceded in death by his parents, Buddy & Minnie Lee Cotton and sister, Ina Ruth Clear. Merdis is survived by his wife, Cartrenner Thomas-Cotton; children, Cheryl (Alonza) Bailey, Rhonda Thomas, Richard Thomas, Maurice Thomas, Reginald Thomas; sisters, Mae Lee, Doris, Minnie Pearl, Dorothy, Helen, Hazel, Lugusta, Bertha, Adell, & Della; brothers, Perdis, Billy Joe, Buddy, Jr.; special niece, Rosie Hudson-Jones, God Children, Greg Jones, Helena & Crystal Cotton, special friends, George & Clara Huff; 14 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
